My first Post!

Akhirnya aku berjaya menulis my first post tanpa perlu tunggu sampai tahun depan :P. Setting up this blog pun dah makan bertaun lamanya. I dont want this to be another 'gajah putih' project like my fotopages (still up ke?), my first personal website (tulis HTML pakai notepad OK!), my friendster page & a bunch of other stuff.
Earlier this year, i almost created a blog because i was so furious with these two big fat pink & round "CON"sultants from the glorious US of A (will talk about this later) and needed a medium to channel my rage. But I guess, that too wasn't a strong enough reason to get me kick-started.

So what made me finally start this blog? During the interview for my new job I was instructed to write a 3 to 4 page essay on something about "top 3 things most valued life lessons" or something around that manner. Most people would sulk at the mention of "essay" but surprisingly I enjoyed it and could of written 10 pages if i wanted to. It was like a revelation (holy prophecy-ish music in the background please). I was reminded that I haves always enjoyed reading English story books when I was young (part of why I am a social nerd :-B) and always chose fiction-type essays during exams. Sampai dapat liputan sebuah akhbar nasional tempatan! Kenapa? Tak percaya? Cuba lihat keratan akhbar dibawah.

The second part of it was that I realized that the topic was something that I was passionate about. I've always wanted to share "Life Upgrade" lessons by way of my own experience, my observation of other people's experience or from what I have learned over my short 29 years (sudah kantoi umur saya). I am no Life Coach, child prodigy, successful entrepreneur, internet millionaire or _____ (feel free to fill in the blanks), but I do always try to be "above average" in whatever I do in life.

Ayark, before I babble on much longer in short my theme for this blog would be "Sharing Life Upgrade Lessons". Areas will most likely cover personal development, financial prowess, career enhancements and ______ (will fill in later). I might slip in a few personal stuff though, we'll see.
